Abstract
Reveals main tendencies of development of land relations, characterized by the reduction of agricultural lands, quality of their composition, the disposal of the land plots turn-over and degradation. The main causes of deterioration of soil fertility and reduction of significant areas of productive farmland. The growing role of state regulation in the system of land relations, in particular, the implementation of planning of rational use of land resources, the resumption of land management in the country, the preservation of agricultural lands and their protection.
